Timing Problem
We’ve had another great day for the Balfron 10k this year. Between the hail showers we managed to get everyone out and home in the dry, with a little sunshine too. We’d like to say a big thank-you to all our sponsors, volunteers, runners and spectators.
This year we used the same professional chip-timing company we have used successfully for a number of years. Unfortunately they had a technical malfunction, and this resulted in problems with the timing data. They were hopeful of being able to resolve this on the day. But it turned out they couldn’t guarantee complete accuracy. So we felt it best to postpone the prizegiving until they could confirm the results accurately. The timing company are hopeful that they can retrieve the data and produce a full and accurate set of results but this may take a day or two. We apologise to all those who have been affected by this, and will do our best to get complete results published on the website as soon as possible. Once we have accurate data we will contact all prizewinners directly to arrange to get your prize to you. We thank you for your patience.
