Local Prizes

There are prizes for the fastest male and female runners of the 10k who live within the G63 postcode.

Known as the Ricky Govan Memorial Trophies these are to commemorate the life of much-loved local runner Ricky Govan who tragically died in 2011. Ricky was a popular member of the local running club, who always brought a smile and a laugh to his training. The winners of these awards will each receive a trophy to keep, and there will be prize cups that will be engraved with the winners names and put on display in the trophy cabinet at Balfron Campus Reception.
